The International Day of The Girl Child with the theme: Digital Generation; Our Generation held on Tuesday, 12th October 2021, Surulere Local Government Secretariat.

 

In attendance were over 80 female students aged 7-18 years and delegates the Honourable Suleiman Yusuf, Chairman, Surulere Local Government Area, Vice-Chairman Honourable Dosumu Adewale, representative of the United Nations, Nigeria Mrs. Bolanle Olumekor, Honourable Alawiye King, Executive Chairman, Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) represented by Mrs Bunmi Elabor, Chief Mrs Felicia Onwudi, Proprietress, The Great Learners Academy, Keynote Speaker Dr Sarah Oloko who joined virtually via Zoom.

 

There presentations that promotes and highlighted the Theme of the Day by the students and the delegates for implementation. ACEP Future Leaders School bags and other items were distributed.
